The Town

Kids Square’s Town is the centerpiece of our museum! Interactive play can be found by children all throughout our town. From banking at American National Bank to grocery shopping at Kroger, our town is full of play and experiences every kid will enjoy!

The Town is made possible by the following sponsors:

•American National Bank – With a working teller station, our American National Bank exhibit is sure to have your little ones interacting and learning about money.

•Berglund Automotive – Berglund Automotive, family-owned and operated for over 35 years, is one of the largest automotive groups in Virginia. They make it possible for kids to travel on Kids Square’s Main Street from The Town to The Forest in kid-friendly ride-on toys. At Main Street’s end budding mechanics can try their skills on a kid-sized car.

•Carilion Clinic – Carilion Clinic is one of the largest employers in the area and a nationally recognized hospital.  The exhibit features an ambulance, exam table, x-ray machine and more.

•Cox Communications – Cox Communications provides the Roanoke region with hundreds of channels of entertainment and some of the fastest internet around.  

•Embellish Hair Studio – The goal of Embellish is to exceed client expectations as they recognize every client is their ultimate focus. Experience a luxurious atmosphere where clients come as guests and leave as friends thanks to their highly trained hair artists.

•Grand Home Furnishings – Your little ones can “cook” and serve a great meal in this amazing play home and kitchen.

•Honeytree – Get the littlest ones ready for their first day of preschool at Honeytree’s mini-preschool.

•Kroger – Come shop in our miniature grocery store.  With working scanners and tons of play food, your little ones will have a blast filling their carts.
