Hello again.
We reached out for your help to make Kids Square’s 7th birthday and re-opening extra special. With the recent water damage, we’re excited to celebrate with new and fresh things for the kids to explore!
A huge thank you to everyone who has already stepped up and supported us. Your generosity is making a big difference as we work to create a fantastic place for families to explore, play and learn together.
Let’s keep the momentum going and make this birthday and re-opening one to remember! A droplet of water with the name of the company or person you want to honor or recognize, will be added to the “Flood of Kindness” poster when we reopen.
You can order from our Amazon wish list or by making a cash donation. Both links are provided below.
We also want to hear your amazing stories about what Kids Square means to you and your family! Whether it’s a heartwarming memory or a simple moment of joy, we want to hear and share it with everyone we can. Be sure to share a photo in the comments.
Here are a few stories that have touched our hearts (a few among hundreds):
1. A mom brought her child into the hospital exhibit to show him the incubator. The playful environment at Kids Square helped ease his fear before visiting his sister at the real hospital near by.
2. A child on the autism spectrum found a quiet corner in our sensory area to calm themselves before returning to play, thanks to our supportive environment.
3. Kids who have been with us since day one (2017) are now heading into 2nd grade, having grown up with Kids Square as a cherished part of their lives.
We know you have your own special moments too. It could be as simple as a favorite spot where you watch your child dive into imaginative play. Share your story on social media, and we’ll add you to our plan. Your stories, big or small, mean the world to us.
Let’s fill our wall with the love and support of our wonderful community!

Keeping Kids Safe & Healthy (as much as possible) at Kids Square Children’s Museum!
Summer is just around the corner. We are excited to see lots of hands exploring, playing and learning. We are well aware that lots of hands come with lots of germs. Here’s what we’re doing to keep the germs away:
1. **Thorough Weekly Cleaning:** Each exhibit undergoes detailed cleaning every single week. We use disinfectants, cleaners and sanitizers to ensure a deep clean, targeting every nook and cranny, including scrubbing the floors. You should see what staff are doing before and after hours every single day!!
2. **Powerful Cleaners, Disinfectants and Sanitizers: ** When open to the public and children are playing in the exhibits, we rely on effective cleaning agents like vinegar water, Clean Smart Cleaner and soap and water. Clean Smart is proven to kill 99.9% of viruses and germs. These cleaners are safe to use around kids, containing no alcohol, ammonia, bleach, fragrance, or dyes. Hopefully, you see staff with a rag in hand wiping high touch areas throughout the entire day.
2. **Exhaustive Toy Rotation:** We go the extra mile by rotating toys in 85% of the exhibits EVERY SINGLE week. This meticulous rotation allows us ample time to sanitize individual toys thoroughly (some may look the same, but they are actually new sets) If replacements aren’t available, we’re not afraid to roll up our sleeves and get into the crevices with Q-tips, rags, soap and water and disinfectants to ensure every toy is germ-free (AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE)
3. High touch areas are wiped down regularly, including bathrooms.
4. **Disinfectant Atomizer:** Our arsenal of cleaning supplies includes “Clean”Disinfectants, which we use in our atomizer sprayer. This ensures a fine mist of disinfectant covers the area, effectively eliminating germs from surfaces and toys. We save this for busy days at the museum.
For Parents’ Peace of Mind:
In addition to our comprehensive cleaning protocols, we provide additional measures to ensure the safety and well-being of your little ones:
1. **Sanitizing Wipes on Demand:** We understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness during your visit. That’s why we offer disinfectant/sanitizing wipes that are safe for kids upon request. They can also be found in a few exhibit areas. Feel free to wipe down surfaces and toys for an extra layer of protection.
2. **Accessible Hand Sanitizers:** Hand hygiene is key to preventing the spread of germs. Hand sanitizers are conveniently located on walls throughout the museum, ensuring easy access for both parents and children.
3. **Drool Buckets for Hygienic Play:** We know little ones love to explore with their mouths. That’s why we provide drool buckets hanging on walls for parents to deposit toys that have been mouthed by their child. It’s a simple way to keep playtime hygienic and worry-free.
Parents, your concerns are our concerns. If you ever feel uneasy about the cleanliness of toys your child is touching, don’t hesitate to ask for the disinfectant/sanitizing wipe or any additional assistance. We’re here to ensure your visit is not only fun and full of learning but also safe and worry-free.
Hope to see you soon!

Rules are important and will be reviewed at EACH VISIT to the museum. Please be patient as our rules are designed to keep children safe and to give everyone in the museum a similar experience in each exhibit area. Parents are asked to help enforce rules. Kids Square Staff is required to address rules that are being broken.
· Adults must be accompanied by a child.
· Toys cannot be removed from the exhibit area you are exploring. This ensures ALL children have the same experience as you.
· Clean up together before exiting an exhibit. This not only helps with tripping hazards, it teaches responsibility.
· Leave shoes on while at the museum except for our “shoe off zones” that are clearly marked.
· No food, drink or gum allowed in the museum. A small snack area is provided outside of museum that patrons are welcome to use. Re-entry to the museum on the same day is free of charge.
· Parents and caregivers are responsible for their children’s behavior and will be responsible for any damage to exhibits that was the result of abuse.
· All ride-on toys (with wheels) must stay on the road.
· Use walking feet at all times.
· Please follow any safety signs displayed throughout the museum, paying close attention to each exhibits individual rules. Exhibits are unique and some require more attention than others.
